First Aid Courses

New York & New Jersey First Aid Classes

We offer First Aid courses to camps, businesses, local community facilities, and private individuals in the New York and New Jersey regions. We are also able to fly out to your location around the US. Please note that we also offer professional CPR training classes.

First Aid: All certifications are valid for 3 years unless specified.

Advanced First Aid

Responding to Emergencies (RTE) - Learn the skills necessary to respond to emergency situations and discover how practicing a healthy lifestyle can help prevent injury and sudden illness. You’ll also be trained to make first aid decisions and provide care for a wide variety of emergencies until professional medical help arrives. You must attend both days to receive certification.

This course fulfills the First Aid requirement for New York State camp counselors. An optional one-hour module on administration of an Epinephrine Auto-Injector for camp counselors will follow the second day of class. EPI Pen (1 year) First Aid 3 year.

Lay Rescuer First-Aid

American Heart Association

Heartsaver Adult First-Aid training – Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in  the first few minutes of an emergency until professional help arrives.  Course content: General Principles, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies.  Environmental Emergencies are optional.

Heartsaver Pediatric Frist Aid Training – same as above just specified for a child.  Excellent class for those involved in child care (child care workers, teachers, foster care, camp counselors, youth organizations, coaches)

Red Cross

First Aid for the Workplace: Portrays injuries and illnesses in industrial or office settings. This class is intended to meet the training requirements of various occupational, office or industrial settings. 


First Aid for Schools and the Community: Portrays injuries and illnesses in school, home or community environments.  Focusing on children as well as adults.


Checking a conscious patient, Soft Tissue Injuries (External Bleeding, Burns), Injuries to Muscles, Bones and Joints (Splinting), Sudden Illness (Fainting, diabetic emergency, seizures, stroke, allergic reaction), Heat-Related Emergencies (heat exhaustion), Cold-Related Emergencies (hypothermia).

EXTRAS: moving ill or injured people, Heart’s electrical system, bloodborne pathogens, breathing barriers, asthma inhaler, Epinephrine Auto-Injector (EPI Pen).

Extra information/Seminars

American Red Cross Injury Control Modules -  these lessons can be added to any certification class or can be made into a seminar.

  • Ergonomics – Give individuals in your workplace and/or school/community an introduction to the knowledge necessary to indentify and reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Slips, Trips and Falls – introduction to the knowledge necessary to identify and reduce the risk of slips, trips and falls.
  • Back Injury Prevention Booklet – knowledge necessary to identify and reduce the risk of back injury.
  • Workplace Violence Awarness – intro to the knowledge necessary to identify and reduce the risk of workplace violence.
  • Managing Stress: intro to knowledge necessary to recognize and manage stress.
  • Your heart matters: into to knowledge necessary to identify and reduce their risk of coronary heart disease.
